Biography

Lesley is the Communications & Programming Assistant for the Labor Studies Department and a second-year International Development Studies major. Through her experience in Labor Studies 10 with Professor Wong, she developed a strong interest in the field, inspired by both the course material and hands-on fieldwork. She is dedicated to supporting the Labor Studies Department and contributing to its community.

Grounded in her cultural identity, Lesley is passionate about using her voice and digital media skills to raise awareness among students and the UCLA community about the ongoing challenges faced by workers and marginalized communities like her own, while supporting the Labor Studies Department’s mission.
